Packing Logic

Export Packing Should Match Product Form, Surface Risk and Receiving Method

Steel packing is not only wrapping material for shipment. Importers need the goods to arrive in a condition suitable for unloading, warehouse receiving, customs clearance, project inspection and downstream processing.

The correct packing method depends on product form, weight, surface sensitivity, loading method, destination route and the buyer’s handling equipment. Wrong packing can cause rust, white rust, edge damage, pipe end damage, bundle loosening, missing labels or unloading difficulty.

  • Confirm packing before order: coil, bundle, pallet, wooden reel, steel frame, pipe end cap or container loading method.
  • Use suitable protection for steel surface, coil edges, sheet edges, pipe ends, rebar bundles, structural sections and wire products.
  • Prepare shipping marks, labels, tags, package photos, loading photos and packing documents according to buyer requirements.
  • Coordinate packing with MTC, heat number, packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin and inspection documents when required.

How Packing and Loading Are Checked Before Shipment

The goal is to reduce cargo damage, rust risk, receiving confusion and document problems before the goods leave the warehouse or loading area.

1

Confirm Product and Route

Review product type, size, weight, quantity, surface, destination, unloading method and shipping route.

2

Select Packing Method

Choose coil packing, bundle packing, pallet packing, reel packing, pipe end cap or custom packing support.

3

Apply Labels and Marks

Prepare shipping marks, tags, bundle labels, coil labels, heat number labels or buyer-required identification.

4

Check Loading Condition

Review packing stability, container loading method, weight distribution, cargo protection and unloading risk.

5

Prepare Shipment Records

Support loading photos, packing list, container details, seal number and shipment document coordination.
